Brian McClure, owner of Mountain City Tile, and one helper began ceramic tile installation in the spring of 1992 operating out of his personal home. Within six months, the business had grown to justify 2 additional helpers in providing tile installation for more than 10 general contractors.
In February of 2002, Brian expanded and opened a showroom at 7633 Dayton Pike, providing a “one-stop-shop” for the public as well general contractors. Within one year, Mountain City Tile had expanded into a 2,500 s/f showroom and warehouse.
In July, 2005, Mountain City Tile continued its growth and relocated into a brand new facility, 1501 BOY SCOUT ROAD, HIXSON, TN 37343,where we currently reside. Our facility offers a 3,500 square feet showroom and offices as well as a 4,000 square feet warehouse to supply the public and commercial markets with their tile installation demands. We also now provide additional floor coverings including cork, laminates and pre-finished solid and engineered hardwoods. Granite and quartz countertops for kitchens and vanities are also available. In 2010, we diversified our product line even more by offering sinks and faucets
As you can see, we have many years experience in this industry. We have several crews employed by Mountain City tile to handle both your tile installation and selective commercial demolition requirements. Our service area now covers approximately 150 mile radius with a wide base of customers including multiple general contractors, home builders and homeowners. We have a very good reputation in the market place. We are a member with the Home Builders Association and also registered with the Better Business Bureau.
